Set 6 months after the film ends, Bob Reynolds, Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Alexei Shostakov, Ava Starr and John Walker all live in the compound together. John Walker falls for Ava, but Ava doesn't think she's good enough for him, though she has feelings too. John tries to get her to realise she's perfect. He always touches her to ground her and comforts her when she phases. She shows him he's more than his past.
