The Only Hope for Me is You-Frerard
Frerard TRIGGER WARNING Gerard just needs some help. He won't get any help, and he won't listen to Mikey, or his mom. Really, he's isolating himself to protect them, and everything is getting worse. After waking up on his bathroom floor, he knows it's gone too far, but he's just letting everything slip out of his hands. That is, until Frank appears out of nowhere and tells him to stop. Frank Iero just needs someone. His mom is never around, and his dad is out of the picture, leaving him all alone. He doesn't have any friends, and he feels like he's just fading into oblivion and no one really cares. Really, he's all on his own, and he needs someone. But he never thinks he'll have anyone. That is, until Gerard. So they're both pretty fucked up. But they need each other, and they want each other, and they're determined to make it work. It isn't always easy, in fact, it rarely seems to be. But it's all a bit better if they can just hold each other's hands through it. Trigger Warning-Alcohol, drugs, self harm, suicidal thoughts, self hate, mild irregular eating habits, depression and anxiety. If you have even the slightest chance of being triggered, please don't read this story. Your safety and wellbeing are too important to me. Wintertime (Frerard, Sequel to Summertime)
Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)Complete

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. The police reckoned that moving away, to rural New Jersey with his grandparents would help him cope with the loss, but even Frank knew that they couldn't be more than wrong, because despite the dull sleepy atmosphere of the town, there was something unidentifiable yet impossibly unnerving about the place, and really, perhaps was safer in his parents home than he ever was here. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him.
