You somehow time travel to the Heian Era and suddenly stumble across the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, as a weak sickly human.

You pretend to be a servant of his estate, in an attempt to kill him in order to save the thousands of lives that would be eventually be lost. However, you get into a complicated love story that transcends time and reality.
