The blood dripped from her chin, onto the white tiles of the kitchen. Her eyes were wild, and her body trapped. The only noise that reached her ears, was the buzzing of the bulb above her head. Carlisle stood to his feet, slowly. Afraid of scaring his daughter.

"Les, you're safe here." Carlisle spoke with a cool head, and with a look, sent all of the siblings away from the situation. One stayed. Never left her side. Not when she needed him most.

"Listen to him, Flower. Nobody is going to hurt you here. I have you." Jasper Whitlock stepped one foot forward, and then another. Right until they were standing toe to toe. He watched her red eyes swim with a mix of anger and fear. "Look at me."

Alessandra refused, afraid, until his fingers found her chin and forced her to look up. It had not been a request. Jasper's grip was strong, almost cracking her marble skin. It was his way of bringing her back to the present. Back into his arms, where he could keep her safe.

"I killed them." Alessandra admitted, feeling the words on her tongue. She thought the word 'kill' would leave an uncomfortable taste in her mouth. It was the opposite.

"Who are we killing next?" Jasper spoke, dragging a finger across her bottom lip, collecting the blood that continued to trickle down. Without breaking eye contact with the buzzed vampire, Jasper brought his thumb to his own lips. Relishing in the taste. Relishing in the feeling of Alessandra Volturi.
