The Art of Being a Shadow

Head down? Check. Eyes cast towards my feet? Check. Inconspicuous clothing choice? Check. So far so good. If only it were that easy... When tragedy early in life leaves a now broken Melody, she decides to live a reserved life, saving herself from future pain. She has friends, does well in school, but is now a shell of the person she used to be. What happens when her best friend (who is dating her sister) starts to realize he has feelings for her? And what's the deal with the new boy who Melody seems to keep meeting in the shadows?
