Brann and his sister Luna live in a world where a Blessed with the power over ice froze everything in an eternal winter. But they have a strange power of their own. Struggling to survive, providing town people with firewood, Brann meets a strange Blessed with the power over flames that never extinguish. After this encounter, their lives become forever changed. Though one thing is true - somehow this never-ending winter needs to end.
"The Scorched Oath" is a fanfiction adaptation of the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto called "Fire Punch". My aim is not to improve the story in any way, but to retell it through a different medium. For those who have read this story before, you will find that some names of characters and locations have changed. I have also moved some scenes around, so that they fit the novel format in a better way. Again, this is purely a story inspired by another, and all the original credits go fully to Mr Fujimoto.
I hope you enjoy this version of the story, as much as I am enjoying adapting it.
