He's done this at least twelve times if the ghosts of his victims are to be believed. They follow him, unable to move on, forever attached, and cursed to stay with him until his days end... Or so they understand it.
Nicky was the first of his victims. And for all the time she has watched him, she still doesn't understand why. Why did he kill her? Why did he continue to kill others?
Why do they follow him? Was it their grief? Their betrayal? What kept them attached to him even after death?
Too many questions left unanswered in her mind... Too many questions that she accepts may never find peace...
But she still hopes that one day, perhaps, SHE will find peace...
Or, at least, retribution.
