Song Mingi - better known in the underworld as Echo - is the hitman everyone fears.
If Echo sets his sights on you, you're as good as dead.

Mingi knows this better than anyone. But lately, things aren't adding up. Every time he eliminates one enemy, more rise up to take their place - and sometimes, they mysteriously end up dead before he even gets there.

Someone is protecting him.

That someone is known only as the Retriever - and Mingi wants answers. When he's given the job to kill the Retriever, he accepts without hesitation. A job is a job.

But no matter how many times he tries, the Retriever won't die. It's as if he has nine lives.
