Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. She's practically a musical prodigy at 16 and music can't possibly be taken away from her. The only people she's ever been really close to are her psycho, over enthusiastic bff's. They're the only people she can tolerate anyway. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)

So I have this thing. Some people would call it a catastrophe; some would call it heart breaking. It also has the name of disease, and heart killer. I call it just cancer. Simple enough as it is, right? Doesn't help that I already had it once before, it just came back to fight harder as ever. I thought it was over. Isn't it though? Don't you give up at that point? Senior year and I'm ready to end my life as a person all together. I'm tired of fighting and might as well give up because there are no chances of me living all together. So as a smart choice I move so when I die no one will know me or care about me. Wouldn't that be the logical choice? I don't want pity. Never liked, never will. So don't tell anyone I have cancer. Ever. Doesn't help that a boy started getting involved with me and snuck under my skin before I even realized what he was doing. What changed me were those few, simple words all together. "I'll love you till the end." That, that was about the time I started caring about life again. And it was all because of him.

Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. It is more like a Journey. You could skip it if you want to. Or learn about the little girl I'm representing/my life. I know it's probably weird for a girl who has cancer to be so well like me and all, but my family and I both agreed that I should live my life as long as I can. I mean of course when I get a cold it's more than just your typical cold and all, but that doesn't stop me from living my life. Even if I have cancer I am still a normal teenager, just one that has an experation date. So I'm starting this new thing where I make a video diary of what I have done the last 4-5 months of my life and then share it with my school so then they could see why I am so weird and care free.

When I was about 11 years my parents, my sister and I were In a car crash and my sister and I were the only ones that survived sadly. My sisters name is Taylor and she is 21, she is engaged to a guy named Damen, he is very sweet. So when they get married I will be moving in with them but for now Taylor and I live with my parents's best friends, Lilly and Jake. They have looked after us ever since my parents died. I go to school like every ordinary child but ever since my parents have died, everyone treats me like I have a disability and that I'm special, but not in that kind of good way, it gets annoying sometimes. Mostly just the teachers take pity on me but not the students that's for sure. But then there's the people at my school that bully me, and that's the majority of them, I have one friend and she has been my friend forever her name is Rosie, she is more on the wild side of life and there is never a dull time in her life. I had other friends but they left us for the sake of popularity.
