It's 1770 in France and kindness is hard to come by. Hunger is ravaging through France's lower class and rumbles of revolution sweeping through France. The rich are even more untrustworthy.

Francis' family is no exception. The Beaumont family is riddled with greedy members who backstab each other for money and power. Francis is different. He sees the pain of the lower class and tries to help. This makes Francis an outcast among his family to the point that they threaten to take all his money from him. 

Francis wants to try to at least make things right with his family and perhaps change their greedy ways. So when given the "opportunity" to prove that he is not a complete waste Francis joins the French army to honor his dead father and redeem himself in his family's eyes.All Rights Reserved
