Six months had passed since the Blip, when half of humanity returned after five long years of absence. Nations struggled to recover, governments stumbled to restore order, and people everywhere searched for their place in a world that no longer felt the same.

For five years, borders had softened, governments had loosened their grip, and people learned to share what little they had. It wasn't perfect, but it was fair in a way the old world had never been. Then the vanished returned, and with them came the old rules, the borders, the corruption, and the displacement of millions.

To Karli, the Global Repatriation Council wasn't restoring order - it was destroying the fragile unity people had built. Families were torn from the homes they had lived in for years, entire communities were labeled as "refugees" overnight, and the powerful pretended it was all necessary for the greater good.

Her answer was simple: resist. The Flag Smashers were born from that conviction, carrying the cry "One world, one people." Karli no longer believed in waiting for governments to do the right thing. If no one would listen, she would force them to.

And in that world of injustice and fear of existence, there were others who moved unseen. One of them was a Madripoorian assassin, her path shaped by orders and survival. Allegiance, Patriotism and Morals. The loyalty of a criminal mercenary is rarely shaped by any of that - it's transactional. Yet somehow, the assasins hunt would place her on the same trail as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, chasing the girl who had not only stolen from the people she worked for but was threatening to take down the goverment to get justice for the people who were overlooked.

They were forged in war and fractured by the same hands that made them monsters. Katherine Zola was born with a name she never chose, the daughter of HYDRA's most notorious architect. A child genius, a living weapon, and the program's most effective ghost. Her mission logs were sealed in blood and buried in silence-until one day, she was given a name: Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. She didn't know why HYDRA wanted him-not at first. Only that she was ordered to track, weaken, and retrieve him. That her mission began before his fall from the train in 1945. That she was the reason he ended up in enemy hands. And she did it. She followed orders. She delivered him. What she didn't expect was to care. What she didn't plan for was falling in love with the man she helped damn. Bucky Barnes thought he was just another casualty of HYDRA-another soldier stripped of self and turned into a weapon. But the truth was darker. His capture wasn't chance. It was chosen. He was targeted by a girl with smoke in her lungs, ghosts in her eyes, and a lie tucked in her smile. A girl who became everything to him, right before she disappeared. Decades later, they stand on opposite sides of the same war-both survivors of mind control, both drowning in guilt. And both still tethered to each other by a past neither can outrun. Because she was his mission long before he ever became hers. -Set during Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Thunderbolts -long book, buckle up for the ride. #1 in thewintersoldier 9.24.25 #1 in original character 9.23.25 #2 in jamesbarnes 9.24.25 #3 in samwilson 10.9.25 #6 in wintersoldier 9.24.25

In the shadowed corners of a world forged by war and secrets-where monsters are made and men are broken-one name burns brighter than the ice: Harriett Potter. And she is no hero. She's what's left when a prophecy devours innocence and leaves something sharper behind. Witch. Weapon. Mistress of Death. She doesn't save the world-she hunts the ones who break it. James Buchanan Barnes. The Winter Soldier. A name buried beneath programming and pain. But his heart remembers what his mind cannot: a red-haired child he spared in a rain-soaked London alley in 1986. She should have died. Instead, he let her live-a decision he wasn't designed to make. The marks they share spared her life. Even in the eyes of a child, she saw something HYDRA could never erase: a man worth saving. A woman who fights for a man who cannot fight for himself, and of a weapon who dares to chase the light. Through resets and bloodshed, through the scream of the chair and the ghosts of who they were, one truth remains: Harriett Potter is his witch. His weakness. His salvation. And he is hers-always, in every life, in every war, no matter how many times they fall. Good thing Harriett has accepted her fate as Death's chosen. Because now, she's not alone. Move over, Director Fury-there's a new team on the field. The Hellhounds don't play by the rules. This isn't redemption. It's retribution. And for those who prey on the innocent, there will be no mercy. Only blood. He who hesitates... disintegrates.

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*

The Red Room. Black Widows. Little Girls. Many girls have walked through come and gone through these walls. 1 in 20 survive. Maybe. They went from psycologically controling these girls, to full on mind controlling them. Training them to be assassians for one person to be in 'control' of the world. They take their childhoods from them, they take their emotions, and most importantly they take their free will. Natasha Romanoff got out. She became an Avenger. She became more then the assassian they made her. Never looking back. At least not after she thought she destroyed the Red Room. But she didn't really destroy it. And when she left, she left her two "sisters" behind. "Twins". When they were younger, they were all part of a "family". Undercover, as the two older agents with them were there to steal something. The mission lasted 3 years. Natasha knew it was fake. But the 6 year old Yelena Belova and Olesya Aleksandrovna, they didn't know. So they got thrown into the Red Room. Not a clue in the world as to what was going on. "Mother" probably dead from a gunshot wound. "Father" watching as they were taken away. "Older Sister" trying to save them, but failing in the end. So they spent the next 21 years, mind controlled. Forced to be assassians. No freewill. That is, until an older widow, cracks the serum. Finds a way to get the girls their minds back. So, the family comes back together. To end the Red Room. Once and for all. || Black Widow Spoilers! ||

*COMPLETED* New drugs have hit the streets, giving users temporary supersoldier abilities. It's a whole new kind of high for those with criminal intentions. While Bucky and Sam are on the hunt for individuals who manufacture and sell the S2P (Supreme Power Pill), they cross paths with Bella, a thief with a certain reputation and attitude issues. Despite her insufferable and outrageous behaviour, Bucky finds himself attracted to her against his own will. Their most unlikely and unexpected team-up takes them down a rabbit hole, where Bucky is forced to confront not only his dark past but also his fiercest nemesis, Hydra. Instead of solely focusing on romance between Bucky and Bella, my story delves into a redemption arc, character growth and inner conflict. A Bucky Barnes fan fiction story from his point of view for those who love Marvel and Bucky specifically. The story will have trigger warnings, action, gun violence, references to child abuse, kidnapping and death scenes, so please read with caution. I do not write smut or porn, but there will be romance and sexual scenes. It's a slow beginning, but the action will pick up midway, I promise! For disclaimer reasons, this is a fanfiction, and I do not own many of the characters and some fictional locations (the Raft and Madripoor). All of them belong to Marvel apart from Bella, Spade, Agent Monroe, Martin, Adrian Cane, Blazer and Marcus, who are my creations. The action takes place shortly after the TFATW events but before Captain America: Brave New World (Sam is not officially initiated as the new Captain America by the government, and Sharon Carter is still not pardoned.)

The Assassin. The Widow

16 parts Ongoing Mature

You had never been saved. You had to run. You escaped the Red Room on your own. Not because the system failed. Not because someone came to your rescue. Because you chose to. Because you had the nerve. The rage. And even when you made it out, freedom felt like a new kind of cage-just bigger. You got on the Avengers' radar because someone saw what you could do. Not Natasha. Not Clint. Not Tony. It was Steve. The compound was a strange kind of haven. They didn't answer to anyone. Not to governments, not to orders. They weren't soldiers. They were a team-autonomous, rebellious, functional. You didn't know if you could fit into that. But then... then he came along. Bucky Barnes. The Soldier turned man. Quiet. Kind. Brutal. Careful. He wasn't afraid of you. And you didn't know what to do with that.
