Chasing the Storm

Rain had always hated storms.
The rumble of thunder in the distance, the sting of raindrops against his skin, the way the sky seemed to split apart-it all made him feel small, fragile, exposed. People teased him endlessly about his name, as if the weather itself was playing a cruel joke on him.
But the storm that mattered most wasn't in the sky. It was the one that came roaring into his life on the back of a motorcycle, wearing a leather jacket, with eyes like fire and a smile that could undo him.
Phayu was chaos. A force of nature. The kind of storm that couldn't be outrun.
