Lucius has such a hard time fitting in, especially with all the shit going wrong with him the past few years. He doesn't know how to cope but self harm and seclusion.
Akito being the strongest of the friend group, is afraid of people and what will be the outcome. He may seem strong and vicious but in reality scared of what people will do to him.
With Lucius and Akito both being rejects of society and holding many secrets of their own, I'd say... they have a lot ahead for them.
