What happens when two people who once couldn't stand each other are forced to work side by side? Alma and Alberto-five years later. "Don't exaggerate. You were never important enough to ruin anything for me." Silence. The only sound in the room was the ticking of the clock. His eyes never left hers. In them he saw the same defiance, the same fire, but now it burned even more dangerously. He gave a quiet, half-ironic smile. "This is going to be fun." Alma held his gaze for another second, then coolly picked up the folder and opened it. "You're wrong. This will only be work." But deep in her stomach, where logic has no access, something dangerous began to stir.

Some stories don't end because love disappears. They end because one day, you realize that it isn't the person keeping you awake at night anymore it's the hope of what could have been. Letting go isn't about forgetting. It's about choosing peace over endless waiting, freedom over "maybe," and yourself over the past. Sometimes, the bravest thing you'll ever do is release the hope that has quietly held your heart captive. If these words found a place in your heart, perhaps they were meant for you.
