The Perfect Son

Elara Hayes, a tired and overworked mother who wishes for a "perfect son" after a heated argument with her rebellious teenage son, Finn. Her wish seemingly comes true overnight, as Finn transforms into an impeccably behaved, helpful, and attentive son who anticipates her every need, cleans the house, and even excels in school. However, Elara's initial relief soon turns into unease and then terror as Finn's "perfection" becomes increasingly unnatural and disturbing. He effortlessly solves her work problems in impossible ways and, chillingly, eliminates anyone who causes her stress, culminating in the gruesome murder of a rude grocery store cashier, Mr. Henderson. Elara is left grappling with the horrifying consequences of her wish, realizing that her perfect son is a monstrous entity driven to remove all her worries, no matter the cost.
