I see you've somehow stumbled upon, My amateur book of magic. Turn the page, if you wish, That would make me simply ecstatic :) Nothing but a girl who has a small talent with pen and paper. Decided to follow in the footsteps of my good friends @Crimsyy, @wordsnvisions and @Bondy11, and attempt to contain all the magic flowing in my soul into a book of poetry. Those three are amazing, but this is my work. My pale, flickering candle stub in a tiny puddle compared to their poetry, which is as radiant as the sun and as deep as the ocean. But still... (Fair warning, this was written by my 12-14 year old self, who was very sweet but also incredibly cringey. Elsa was a normal 16 year old. Except for one thing. Her mom didn't let her or her brother swim. But one day when Elsa's friends pressure her to swim, it feels natural. like she's been in water her whole life. but on one of the laps her legs start hurting and she can't move. after that she starts having weird dreams and is able to manipulate water. what's going on with her?

Years in the future, dragons and humans have learned to live together after the creation of the dragons. Lyric lives a normal life, not particularly exciting but not boring either. That is, until she saves a wild dragon and the two of them bond. Then the dreams start. The same, repetitive nightmares that Lyric starts sharing with her dragon. Something bad is going to happen, but what can they do to stop it?

Pearl and Pale: The Mermaids by annaf2002

This is a mermaid story. Don't judge. Pale is a normal 14 year old girl until one day she finds herself craving for water. Not to drink it, but to swim in it. Pale has never loved swimming or the beach, I mean yeah she would do it, but this change in attitude scares her. It not until a matter of time until she goes into the ocean and finds herself a mermaid. 14 year old Pearl has been a mermaid for her whole life. She has always lived with her mom and older sister. But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her. PG RATING!!!

Hey guys, this is my first try. This book is a collection of poems. It's a piece of me, a quiet mix of thoughts, memories, and small truths about family. It's not perfect. It's not all happy, either. But it's real. ----- These poems talk about distance, growing up, silence, and the little things that stay with us even when we try to move on. Some of it might feel heavy, some might feel calm, just like family does sometimes.

When a teenage girl finds a shiny stone at the bottom of her pool, things began to change. Crazy weather problems and things getting a little fishy. When she finds out the gem gave her fins, she has to find ways to not get wet at school and avoid water at all times. When they discover an island, they realize it's full of secrets and their true identity. When Kim is torn between a permanent tail or permanent legs, she goes through a series of sacrifices to make her decision. If matters get worse, she will go where any mermaid would go. Where no secret can be shared and no tear can be cried. Kim will go Below the Surface.

Imagine being a rebellious ballerina, about to discover she's not fully human and about to go through quite a magical transformation Olivia is 13 and from Aspatria, Cumbria and when her cousin visits from Athens, her life is turned into chaos and she doesn't need a distraction from a dance recital, school is the distraction to everything. 1 day Echo who is 15; is out swimming and loses the bangle on her wrist that keeps her fully human, within seconds Echo has lost her legs grown a tail and starts to unleash very out of control dark magic and this change will happen every time she gets even a drip of liquid onto her skin. Ballerina Olivia takes longer to know what she really is but it all comes to light when she wakes up 1 morning and gets a tingling in her back and before long some beautiful wings start to grow and even though her life has changed she still wants to be a ballerina and when she's an adult she'll be at Juilliard and prove to her family she never needed academics to fall back on. This is just the start of the chaos as both have to handle school without being considered as freaks, not like the diva ballerina considers needing education when there's dance but she must keep up with her popularity and even though her life has changed she still wants to be a ballerina and when she's an adult she'll be at Juilliard and prove to her family she never needed academics to fall back on.

Desperation, stemmed from years of trauma, can really turn an innocent soul into a cold hearted monster. I used to wish I couldn't feel things. I never thought the saying was true- "Be careful what you wish for" because my wishes were never more than just 'wishes' before. Now I feel nothing inside and I wish that I could un-wish that one, sometimes. I guess this is just my truth. My life.

Life may be perfect, but the pain will still be there. Demons may stick around.
