Growing up, I was always stuck with him some way or another. Conrad Rivers was the most annoying person that ever walked the face of the earth; I would know this because I have the unfortunate luck of being next door neighbors with him since his family moved to Ridgeview just before pre-k. And to add to my bad luck our parents instantly became the best of friends which meant constant get-togethers and the yearly summer vacation to our shared lake house.
You see every girl at my school and by every girl I mean every girl worshipped the ground Conrad walked on. He was what you would call the ‘heartthrob’ or ‘golden boy’. He had what you would call ‘drool worthy looks’. Which of course was all any high school girl could think about-except me. Growing up with him and his obnoxious pranks made me immune to his looks. I despised him too much to ever think of him in that way. He was always that annoying boy whose life goal was to irritate me any chance he could get.
