At 21 years old, Port Mafia executive Nakahara Chuuya is given responsibility over a former prisoner, Youtsuke Ichika, a 19 year old female. As he attempts to know more about her on the first day, he immediately recognises what he can only describe as the most severe case of PTSD he had ever seen.
The executive doesn't understand the source of her trauma. But he knows for sure that she is in desperate need of therapy. But she refuses. Why? He doesn't know. He does know, however, that he is the only one she will even so much as speak to. And therefore, he's only one who can help heal her.
But in order to do that, he must first find out what causes all of her stress, pain, trauma, and anxiety. Some of the many things she refuses to reveal to even the head of the mafia. The only lead he has to doing so, is that she fears it more than she fears death. Or rather, it makes death sound like an escape to her. And it had to have something to do with before she was a port mafia prisoner, and instead a member of the organisation.
