Across Shifting Sands

(Edited) The princess Zelda is on her way to a wedding when she and her caravan are suddenly ambushed by a group of Gerudo warriors, a tribe long thought to have gone extinct. The Hylian heiress is taken back to their city in the Gerudo desert where she meets their leader, King Ganondorf. There, as his captive, Zelda learns a great deal about what it means to lead and also uncovers a hidden plot that could change the future of Hyrule forever.

I was heavily inspired to write this by Liliana Moon's Naruto fanfic called "The Sand Prince" on Fanfiction.net. If you've never read it or heard of it before, I HIGHLY recommend you go check it out because it is a SPECTACULAR work.

I also recommended a Legend of Zelda fanfic on Fanfiction.net called "Identifier" by ImagineAspen. It was an AMAZING story, and I was greatly inspired by it, too. (You should TOTALLY give that a read once you have a chance!)
