The princess Zelda is on her way to a wedding when she and her caravan are suddenly ambushed by a group of Gerudo warriors, a tribe long thought to have been near extinction. The Hylian heiress is taken back to their city in the Gerudo desert where she meets their leader, King Ganondorf. There, as his captive, Zelda learns a great deal about what it means to lead and also uncovers a hidden plot that could change the future of Hyrule forever.
Disclaimer: All of the Legend of Zelda games and characters are the property of Nintendo; I do not own any of them. I also do NOT own the cover image; I just found it on Pinterest and I thought it kinda fit the vibe of the story. (Slight AU)
I was heavily inspired to write this by Liliana Moon's Naruto fanfic called "The Sand Prince" on Fanfiction.net. If you've never read it or heard of it before, I HIGHLY recommend you go check it out because it is a SPECTACULAR work.
I also recommended a Legend of Zelda fanfic on Fanfiction.net called "Identifier" by ImagineAspen. It was an AMAZING story, and I was greatly inspired by it, too. (You should TOTALLY give that a read once you have a chance!)
Please go easy on me guys and gals, I'm not as well-versed in Legend of Zelda lore as all of you are!

***I've been wanting to write this for AWHILEEEEE! I'm a little late to this party but due to TOTK season upon us, I thought of this fun little fanfic that is BOTW x MM. I might be back on my smut writing a bit too ;)*** The calamity has perished, and with it the dawn of a new age now rises for Hyrule. Regarded a madman by his peers; it isn't until the blood moon rises once more, that the newfound age of peace of Hyrule is tossed into peril. With a fiery moon threatening to swallow Hyrule whole, it is up to Y/N to solve the mystery of the fallacy known as 'Termina.' Was the Hero of Time telling the truth? And does the current hero of the calamity and Queen Zelda's appointed knight have any insight? As the archaic fights against the modern, both in society and heart, you learn the hero you need has always been in front of your own eyes. Not within the pages of your history book. My Silent Knight
It has been a year since the princess and her knight were able to reunite and seal the horror that was Calamity Ganon. Now, the princess wonders through her kingdom of Hyrule, attempting to help her subjects and return the kingdom to it's former glory. Through her travels, she makes sure to keep her silent knight close to her, afraid to ever loose him again. Now, her appreciation and feelings towards the knight grew stronger and through every moment, good and bad, she is determined to stay by his side and never loose him, even if that means loosing herself. Authors Note: Hello! This is my first ever story and I was really bored one day so I decided to just start typing! Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle.
