"I will never yield to you," Charles said before Max smashed his lips against his own. He let out a surprised grunt as his hands gripped the Dutchman's hair tightly before reciprocating the kiss.

When Charles joined Ferrari, he had only one clear goal in mind. He would do everything in his power to get ahead of Max Verstappen. What he hadn't expected was that his world would start turning upside down the closer he got to the Dutchman. Which was way closer than he ever thought he would get.

"Then choose to act differently," Charles said softly as he rubbed his thumb over the side of Max's knee. Max nodded slowly as he turned his head to look at the Monegasque.
"What do I need to do?" Max asked, tone of voice hopeful.

Max hadn't expected that Charles, who had once been his rival, would be able to change everything he knew about their friendship in a matter of weeks. Soon, Max found himself questioning everything he'd ever known. Not only about their bond, but also about himself.
