In the continent of Edonia, there lies a grand kingdom called Nirewin. Nirewin was a well established land with history upon history of stories. Many rulers led Nirewin with an iron fist, leading their people into several years of prosperity and peace. Many great warriors were trained in Nirewin with many of them aiding in the Dark War. The Dark War came about when there was a difference in what Mana was used for. The Mages of Edonia has shown and proven that Mana, the life force of Edonia, was used for protection and good. However, many Mages took a darker path, saying that Mana was mainly used for power, to defeat those who posed a threat to one's way of living. Seeing what would transpire if this continued, the Mages of Edonia exiled any and all who tried using Mana for sickly acts. Thus became the rising of Warlocks and Witches. Seeing themselves as better and flawless in every way, the Warlocks and Witches formed the Grand Covenant, to strengthen their own teachings and to prove kingdoms all over Edonia wrong. And with that, The Dark War began. Mages battled the Witches and Warlock within the grand kingdom of Nirewin. After many suns, many moons, and many fallen allies and foes alike, the war was over. The inhabitants of Nirewin are now safe from such a vicious attack. But now, a new threat peeks its face over the horizon of Nirewin. One of the founding Witches of the Grand Covenant named Helena was slain in the Dark War, leaving her daughter to be raised without her. Now, full of rage and seeking revenge, Helena's daughter, Quara sets her eyes on the Mages of Edonia...

"You think I give a shit about everyone else in Prythian if it's your life on the line?" Azriel snapped. Eclipse's eyes watered and she looked away in frustration. Azriel reached forward and grabbed her chin forcing her to look at him. Eclipse's breath caught in her throat at the intensity of his stare. "If it's you or Prythian, I will light the fucking fires myself and burn it all to the ground." "Az-" she breathed softly staring into his hazel eyes. "No. I waited 500 years for this, for you, and if you think that I will ever be okay with spending one Cauldron damned second of this life without you from this point forward, then you are sorely mistaken." He stared deeply into her eyes. "If you.. Mother.... If you die Eclipse there's no fucking point to anything. Mate or not you are the light of my life. Nothing makes sense without you, it's all just blood and shadow without you and I can't, I won't go back to that. So if you go, then I'm following right behind." What if, hear me out, but what if Rhysand's sister hadn't been the youngest of his blood relations. What if, before her death she had been married off to the heir to the Day Court? What if they had a daughter? Born somewhere in between the day and night, a bridge between the courts. Powers from both. An affinity to control the light and dark, an intuition so keen she had never been wrong a day in her life, an affinity for magic and spells so strong she could rival her father, known by many names. The Warrior Princess, the Candle in the Dark, Daydreamer, Eclipse; Spell Weaver.

For generations, the Dorothea family has borne what they call a "curse," though others whisper of it as a dark inheritance-a twisted irony for a name that means "Gift of God." This so-called gift was anything but divine. It was said that when the mother of a firstborn child perished, the curse passed to the child, marking them as its next vessel. On the night of the crimson moon, that child would be driven by forces beyond their control, becoming an unrelenting harbinger of death for those steeped in sin. The curse claimed Penelope Dorothea as an infant, sealing her fate before she even had a chance to live. To save her, she was spirited away to the neighboring country of Valort and taken in by the revered General of Sylvan, a man known for his unshakable honor and strength. But Penelope grew up with no memory of the family that had forsaken her, nor of the dark legacy that coursed through her veins. In Sylvan, she carved a life of her own, rising through the ranks to become the respected Captain of District 8. Along the way, she fell deeply in love with Blake Laurens, the General's son-a man who seemed to embody everything noble and good. But love is never simple, especially for one burdened with shadows. As Penelope's past begins to unravel, she discovers a truth far more chilling than the curse she thought she had escaped. Blake is not the man he seemed, and the ties that bind them may be far more dangerous than she could ever imagine. With each crimson moon, the curse stirs, and Penelope is forced to confront a dark prophecy that could either consume her...or reveal who she was always meant to be. || Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. When a witch appears on her door step, the last thing she would of expected was to be cursed to another year, before she ever existed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a seperate novella spinoff of the acotar series. Eternal: (adj.) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning Athanasia never complained about her situation. She never felt like she had the right to. A random event leads her to befriend a small boy. A boy that she believed she would never see again. His situation was heartbreaking, she knew that there are others that are more unfortunate just like him. However, this one encounter changes everything she expected of herself, gave her freedom when the world only wants to swallow her up. --- "Why are you doing this? Why are you befriending me? Though we met five hundred years ago, why do you still bring me into your life? So much can happen in that many years but instead of staying with your friends or finding other things to do, you're with me. Why?" I ask again. Though I don't like being so forward, I can't help it. I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had. That's why I want to continue them-with you, Athy." --- Disclaimer: All ACOTAR characters and plot belong to Sarah J. Maas. My characters and scenes are my own work.
