Tennis's brightest star, world number one, trapped in the endless cycle of speculation and rumor. Fame offers no privacy-only pressure, only noise. When the chaos threatens to swallow them both, their managers broker a solution: pretend. A fabricated romance to quiet the storm. It's temporary. It's controlled. It's not real. At least, that's what they tell themselves. But there's nothing controlled about the fire that sparks every time their paths collide. A reluctant hand on her waist. His breath warm against her ear. Long nights in shared hotel rooms where walls-both physical and emotional-start to crack. Sharp words laced with sarcasm give way to stolen glances neither of them wants to admit mean anything at all. And then, one night, a broken elevator, a kiss that was never supposed to happen... and suddenly the lie feels far too close to the truth. Gracie swore she'd never let anyone in. Jannik promised tennis would always come first. But as they're forced deeper into a world of staged intimacy and whispered denials, they're left with one impossible question- When pretending feels this real... how do you know where the act ends?
