I am Goldfury, and my existence is kind of a... legend. 
I'm a lycanthrope, a shapeshifter of the kind who eats people, and September (despite the name, he's a human-ish guy) says I belong to an extinct race of lycans, the most ferocious ever, who killed each other in a mad battle for power. 
The Apocalypse is approaching (they say, but who knows), and apparently I have an important role in this. 
Frankly, I'd also like to have a significant role as a judge of "very generous rustic banquets of meat," but I don't. I'm not even sure how to behave with humans, to be honest, so I don't expect to understand everything you do, and you shouldn't expect to understand everything I'll do. 
I am Hróðvitnir, and my spirit is greater than my flesh. 
Even my flesh, when it comes to greatness, is no slouch.
