When a reserved and cold parasitologist is recruited to join the Peacemaker team to investigate the mysterious butterfly invasion she never expects the mission to change her life.

Specializing in parasitic organisms that infiltrate the human brain, she's accustomed to isolation, spending most of her time in a lab with little human interaction. But joining the team forces her to step out of her comfort zone, engaging with people she would usually avoid. One in particular catches her attention: Adrian Chase, aka Vigilante.
