Andre and Monique are a young Black couple struggling to make ends meet in a tough city. With Andre recently losing his job and Monique barely covering the bills, their apartment is on the brink of foreclosure. Faced with no other option, they reluctantly decide to post an ad for a roommate, despite worries about privacy, safety, and how a stranger could affect their child, Amaya. As they navigate financial pressure, family tensions, and the challenges of urban life, they soon realize that survival may demand choices they never imagined.
