Hi! This is my first full-length fanfic! I'm so excited! Of course, this is a George Luz fic (based solely on Rick Gomez's portrayal of the character) because I'm a Luz girl for life. I'm not too focused on keeping things super historically accurate, so there will be variations in order for me to take creative liberties. Hope you love it!
Eleanor "Nora" Whitman is a journalist for Life magazine. She's taken on the assignment of writing a feature piece on the effectiveness of paratroopers in the war. In an effort to capture the full scope of their experiences, she immerses herself in the training and combat of the Army paratroopers, attaching to Easy company for the length of the war.

After completing two years of service as regular infantry, First Sergeant Megan Bonti finally decides to request a transfer to be a part of the paratroops. She had just about had enough of her commanding officer underestimating her abilities and wanted something new. She had been one of the first qualified paratroops and thus decided to transfer to where her skills could be better used. When she first arrives at Toccoa, she isn't quite sure what she's in for. The men seem welcoming enough but are quite a rowdy bunch.
