He smirked when I glared. "Relax, Farhana. I'm only flirting with you so you don't cause me more trouble."

My jaw dropped. "Excuse me?"

Baseer leaned closer, eyes gleaming with mischief. "Think of it as a deal. I distract you, you stop plotting against me. Simple."

It was supposed to be a game.
