He wanted nothing more than to spend his entire days with him, playing video games all night long just to hear him talk, shove Jay around so he could touch him, and that hug earlier? It was all excuses. Did Jay feel the same? It wasn't like he didn't encourage any of these behaviours. He was playing with his hair before. He did it often. Did he prefer Kai's hair flat and soft so that he could play with it? His gelled hair was so much tougher. And god, Jay literally was touching his abs. (May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. After finally starting to face his Father as the Green Ninja in Battle, Lloyd has to face his most dangerous threat yet: highschool. But maybe after finding the other Elemental Masters he'll finally have the family he longed oh so badly for. Mostly Lloyd-centric fic cuz he's my child and I love him very much Lloyds mom abandoned him in this when he was a baby for - at least for Lloyd - unknown reasons (so basically his mom in this is Misako, not koko) Lloyd was raised and homeschooled by Wu, who took him in. A Flame Sent Into The Past, Chapter 1: The Spark Reignites
After a devastating event in the middle of the Time Twins arc, Kai finds himself mysteriously transported back to the beginning of Ninjago's timeline - waking in the wilderness with two young dragons, Ash and Surf, who share a soul-deep bond with him but don't recall their origins. With memories up to the Skybound arc (even though he is from the Twins of Time arc, but he doesn't remember), but no clue how he got back, Kai must walk the line between changing fate and preserving the timeline.
