Centuries ago, a cataclysm known as the Lament shattered civilization. From its wake came the Tacet Discords - monstrous beings born of twisted resonance, roaming across lands where nature and ruin now coexist in uneasy silence. Humanity survived, but only as fragments, scattered among fortress-cities and settlements built upon the bones of the old world.

Here, the Resonators walk. They are the few who can harness frequency, bend Echoes to their will, and stand against Discords where ordinary weapons fail. Their strength is a gift - and a burden - for the resonance that grants them power ties them to mysteries older than the Lament itself.
