An attempt at a lover's trope between the main character, (Y/N) & two super soldiers.
In this universe you're a scientist that has grown close with Tony Stark, almost becoming part of his family. Upon SHIELD becoming compromised by HYDRA & a weapon of mass destruction being exposed, there is only one solution to releasing the mental grasp that James Buchanan Barnes is under-
you.

My first attempt so please be nice and provide feedback! :)
Set after CATWS, but before Civil War.
(Fine details of the plot might stray from canon, will add any important notes as needed.)

To Notice a Ghost

26 partes Concluida

Y/N served her country with precision, honor, and the kind of steel-spined discipline that made her a national name. But when her time in uniform ends, she finds herself somewhere even less predictable-the Avengers Compound. Used to order and respect, Y/N struggles to adapt to the chaos of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. They're loud. Unfiltered. Oddly domestic. And then there's James Buchanan Barnes-quiet, unreadable, and determined to keep his distance. But Y/N is a soldier trained to observe, and she notices everything. Especially him. What begins in silence turns into something deeper-built on shared trauma, quiet gestures, and the subtle kind of love that doesn't need to be spoken aloud. A slow-burn, modern-day romance about healing, noticing the unnoticeable, and finding peace where you least expect it.
