What if the most intimate truths are the ones we write in the margins?

At Rainford State University - a place where philosophy lectures echo through marble halls and cafeteria coffee fuels impossible ambition - Vanessa Jones studies ethics by day and annotates her life in Stoic quotes by dawn. Focused, guarded, and quietly brilliant, she's never needed anyone to complete her equation for meaning.

Until she meets Nereo Alighieri-Leroux.

Once a philosophy student, now a chef with a poet's soul, Nereo reads people the way he reads recipes - patiently, intuitively, always looking for what's left unsaid. When the two collide at an academic panel, their connection is immediate, but restrained. What begins as a subtle game of glances and footnotes evolves into something richer: an intellectual seduction where every shared idea deepens their desire, and every silence says what words can't.

As Vanessa pushes toward a PhD in bioethics and Nereo begins dreaming of a future that bends around her, the margins of their lives - once so neatly ordered - begin to blur. But love, like philosophy, resists easy definitions. And when old fears resurface and new choices must be made, they'll have to ask themselves: can a bond built on thought, restraint, and slow-burning trust survive the mess of real emotion?

Margins of Meaning is a lyrical, emotionally literate romance that unfolds through whispered arguments, marked-up books, and the unspoken language between two people learning to show up for each other - in the margins, and in the middle.

This time, I can't help but flinch as touches me and pulls the other strap down .. baring my other shoulder to his eyes. "Anthony, you can't say those things. We ... we're supposed to be best friends." He kisses my shoulder and the words come out weak, unbelievable .. unconvincing even, as they come from my own lips. Anthony stays quiet after what I say, or rather he ignores me, instead using his other hand to play with the skin on my stomach exposed from the top. "I know .." He trails off. I hold my breath in wait, the temporary silence sending my mind spinning at the situation that'd developed. "But I don't know if that's enough for me, B." Anthony moves my hair to side as he says the words endearingly. And then there's another kiss to pair. Although it isn't a simple peck this time. It's an actual kiss, slow and softly pressed into the nape of my neck. Beatrix thought she'd never trust another guy again. Her last relationship had changed her, in so many ways that she hated. The experience had been unbelievable and both unbearable. After doing the first two years of college online, she transfers to the esteemed, Highland University with just one wish: Normalcy. The plan was simple .. just keep her head down, study her ass off, try to become a functional person once again and hopefully make one friend or two. Everything was supposed to start over that year, a fresh start for her. She'd had high hopes and was faithfully prepared to blend in to the background. And it does go well. Until she sits down in Spanish, where she meets Anthony Gamaro. Beatrix finds herself in an odd friendship with the 21 year old football player. One that's strangely wholesome and slowly helps her begin to open up a bit. Not just to him but new friends, opportunities and the college experience of course, filled with studying, stress, partying, fun and some drama.
INSIDE AND OUT от forevereliana023
55 Части В процессе Для взрослых
They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. But what if that step is taken in the dark, guided only by the fragile, flickering light of your own fear? This is not just a story of a journey; it is the map of a soul. Inside and Out is a piercingly intimate exploration of a life built-and almost broken-by its own walls. It begins in the quiet turmoil of self-doubt, where the reflection in the mirror is a stranger and the concept of beauty feels like a weapon. Here, in the shadows of uncertainty, a spark of determination is born-not a roar, but a whisper, a stubborn refusal to be defined by the cracks within. This is a story of peeling back the layers. It's about the terrifying, exhilarating work of growth, of looking your deepest fears in the eye and choosing to move forward anyway. It's about clawing your way toward self-respect, not as a destination, but as a daily practice of choosing yourself, piece by broken piece. And then, just when you think the path is one you must walk alone, another soul intersects yours. This is where the narrative deepens, transforming into a profound meditation on true love. But this is not a fairy tale. This love is a mirror, reflecting back not only your light but also every unhealed scar. It is a love that demands courage, that asks the most terrifying question of all: Can I be truly seen, inside and out, and still be chosen? Inside and Out is a breath held before a confession, the ache of a healing wound, the fierce, quiet triumph of a spirit refusing to be subdued. It is for anyone who has ever fought to find the beauty in their own chaos and dared to believe that the most important jo journey we ever take is the one that leads us back to ourselves-and, in doing so, opens us to a love that is as relentless as it is real. Prepare to feel the story unfold within you. Your journey begins here.

Some stories begin with fireworks. This one begins with silence. Not the kind that comforts. The kind that echoes through the spaces people leave behind- through empty hallways, unread messages, unanswered calls, and the quiet ache of things unsaid. Rohan Kapoor was a man shaped by that silence. A tenured Stanford professor of ethics and behavioral economics, he believed in rationality, discipline, precision. He lived behind walls built brick by brick from heartbreaks he never let the world see. Grief turned him clinical. Abandonment made him orderly. And love- he left that behind long ago. Lyra Wang never asked for softness. Raised in a small, chaotic immigrant household where love meant sacrifice and ambition meant survival, she learned early that emotion was a luxury. And vulnerability? A danger. A prodigy in statistical economics, Lyra believed in the logic of markets, not the mess of hearts. But life doesn't always follow theory. When Lyra arrives at Stanford for her postdoctoral fellowship, their worlds collide-fierce minds, opposing ideologies, guarded souls bound by buried wounds. What begins as friction shifts into tension-then something neither of them expected. In the hush between words, in late-night coffee and quiet glances, in anger and comfort, longing and restraint- they begin to unravel. The Weight of Silence is a story of two people who speak different languages of pain but somehow understand each other anyway. It's about loss. And healing. About holding on. And letting go. And how, sometimes, the most beautiful things bloom in the silence we've been running from all our lives.

Had Colleen not been labeled as La monstruosidad Blanca, maybe she would've had a childhood like the others, with parents like the others had and even love everyone else got to feel. It wasn't easy to live among the ignorant only that was nothing compared to the struggle of trying to cover up those scars they left. - You could say that the universe seemed to finally have enough pity to sprinkle some hope into her pathetic life with an opportunity to escape it all, in form of a 6'4ft Auburn haired COO, Thomas McGowan who was blessed with the face carved to resemble an angel only to have a heart that'd rotted long before his grave. - Somehow, those two souls as different from one an other as Ying and Yang yet as well fitting to each other, tangled up together, forming something almost worth calling beautiful. - "I think that true love is when two people make each other love themselves more" . "I didn't want this to burn out too fast. I wanted it to last, slow and steady, a burning ember that glowed for eternity." She's breaking under expectations. He's suffocating under love. Valeriana has spent her whole life performing as the perfect daughter while quietly falling apart under the weight of never being enough. Darius grew up in warmth and freedom, only to find that too much love can also be a cage. At Ceridian University, Valeriana just wants to survive another semester. Darius just wants to do his job and keep his heart out of it. But when their paths cross; the tutor sessions, quiet teasing, dinners, and moments that weren't supposed to matter turns into something neither expected. A bond built on shared exhaustion and unspoken care. They teach each other how to breathe again. How to laugh when the world feels too heavy. How to love without needing to be perfect. But as their connection deepens, so does the fear of losing control, of being too much, of not being enough. Because love, for them, isn't a rescue. It's a slow unravelling. A choice to stay when it would be easier to run. "The Way We Mend" is a tender, slow-burn romance about burnout, healing, and the quiet courage of being seen and loved as you are. {This is an original work written by me.
