(SnapexOC)
Hasel Shaw is still reeling from her recent expulsion from Ilvermorny when she comes face-to-face with her next challenge: Severus Snape. Newly transferred to Hogwarts, Hasel is determined to fit into the shadows and not cause a fuss, a task already difficult considering Hasel's physical disability. Walking with a cane draws eyes, but so do her near-constant arguments with the infamous potions Professor. As her last year of school begins to unfold in front of her, her opinions of the cold-blooded professor begin to change, and against everything she knows is right, he begins to pervade her mind.
CLIP:
"If I see you doing that again, walking in the dark like that, I will make you regret it," Severus said, his voice dark as he stared down at me.
"You'll do what exactly?" I asked, the booze feeding into my bad attitude. "You can't really do anything to a student, can you."
This time, he stepped closer, not to save me from falling but to speak to me. His voice was its normal baritone timbre, but there was something angry within his silky tone.
"I don't think you want to test that, do you Miss Shaw?" he asked, his cloak swishing against my legs. I stared up at him, my eyes becoming trapped under his gaze.
"Do I?" I asked back, feeling something unfamiliar in my stomach at his gaze. It wasn't embarrassment, and it wasn't fear. I didn't fear him at all, I realized, and yet that didn't comfort me. I enjoyed it. Even in my delusional, alcohol-induced state. I enjoyed the way he glowered at me.
