Whenever the song "The Lever", from the fourth album named Diorama by Silverchair, was played live and as the closing of the show, things hit different. Their frontman and lead singer, Daniel Johns, used to came up with a pretty elaborated story of his own and the crowd would go insane. So here's the one from their show at the Newcastle Civic Theatre back in 2003 with some spicy details brought by me to color Dan's genius mind even more, I'm sure you know just what I mean.

Unsteady (Phan)
Tragedy struck California this morning, and many people who were sleeping at 8 am didn't wake up in time to know that they were struck with a Magnitude 5.3 Earthquake. Many are saying those are the lucky ones, because those who survived, stayed alive long enough to see history happen. Four and a half hours later, California thought they were in the clear. After an extraordinary 600 foot Tsunami hit the Dockweiler State Beach, wiping out everything in it's path. Rescue crews have been awaiting on this horrific day in California, to go out and try to find any survivors. They do not have their hearts set on finding many alive. The clip ended, and through tunnel vision, Phil flipped back to Twitter. Dan hadn't wrote him in a while, and he hadn't been online as far as he was aware of. But one question was burning in his mind. When he saw Tori's twitter, she only had a handful of followers- so even if she happened to post that Phil said Dan was in America, it wouldn't count for everyone to know where Dan was. He hovered his mouse over the search bar, typed in "Dan", and clicked onto Dan's Twitter account. Daimen frowned and studied me for a while, "Just wondering, because you seem to love pissing me off. And most people don't. So I guess you need some figuring out to do." ********* Daimen and River were both seniors at the same high school, they took some of the same classes, walked the same halls, live in fair distance from each other, but they couldn't have been more different. When high school was over River and Daimen became ghosts to each other but then years later fate decides to bring them back together. River Sparrow hates confrontation. She's jumpy, but tries to see the bright side of situations. She's quiet, soft spoken, the "teacher's pet," and keeps to herself a lot. She's a volunteer at the local animal shelter and loves one dog in particular the most. Daimen Princeston would fight in a heartbeat. He's strong, intimidating, and pretty much has people running for the hills at the very aspect of him getting angry. His devil-may-care attitude swirls around him and no one wants to get on his bad side. Of course River is afraid of him, and she has a good right to be. But when River starts to learn more of the young man everyone fears she starts to see him in a new way. After some time feelings grow stronger and she hopes she's not fallen for a murderer. "Ahhh!!!" The man's body falls to the floor limp and I fall to the floor out of terror, "Why are you screaming? I saved you from being raped."
