In the late 1990s heat of Southaven, Mississippi, Amir Khan carries himself with dangerous charm. He is the boy everyone talks about, the one who breaks hearts as easily as he lights them on fire. When Nisha Carter arrives from Memphis, drawn into his orbit despite every warning, their connection strikes like lightning. Her passion is fierce, her obsession unshakable, and her love for Amir quickly becomes a storm that neither of them can escape.
But Nisha is not the only woman who shapes Amir's world. Maria Alvarez, bold and carefree, takes pleasure in their secret nights, knowing she cannot keep him yet unwilling to regret a moment. Rosa Diaz, quiet but powerful, hides her scars while becoming the one person who sees through Amir's reckless charm to the boy underneath. And Jessica Taylor, possessive and unstable, refuses to let him go, her jealousy threatening to consume them both.
Every relationship leaves a mark. Every touch carries danger. Amir's journey is one of desire, betrayal, and the kind of intimacy that cuts deeper than the summer heat. In the sticky nights of the South, secrets never stay buried. They smolder, waiting for the moment to ignite again.
This is a story of passion too strong to ignore and consequences too dark to escape. Summer Blood: Some Secrets Burn Forever will pull you into a world where love burns hot, lust runs deep, and choices can scar for life.
I got the idea for this story, after watching Marry Me, the new Jennifer Lopez movie...It's not the same by any means, but it has a similar concept. I highly recommend the movie.
This story takes place in the present day (2010s) but take 1973 Stevie Nicks (Buckingham Nicks Cover) age her up to about 36, but not with the poodle perm, and stick her with Say You Will Lindsey. A 40 year old, single father of a thirteen year old daughter.
