Killer is a sans, and so is the rest of his crew. They call themselves "The Bad Sanses." They've all had one goal at some point in time, revenge. However, Killer is a unique specimen. He is an emotionless being. He feels nothing and nothing only. No remorse. No happiness. No mercy. All he knows is "kill," and that's how it's been for long time. However, one day he comes across a new particular type of Sans. A very colorful one. He feels something he hasn't felt for years. Freedom. Once Nightmare finds out, it's not pretty. Killer was his most loyal worker. So he decided he had to end this "friendship." The question Killer asks is, why? "Why do you need me to feel nothing? Why do you want me to be a part of your crew? You always tell me how useless I am. If I'm so useless, why do you need me?" Nightmare couldn't give him an answer. Pin has always been a wonderful baker, the best out of all of the contestants! But unfortunately, that incredible ability to bake is what happens to be every other object's downfall as her treats attract an unexpected voice- One that seems to know a thing or two about baking itself, if only it used the same ingredients that Pin enjoyed. That shouldn't matter too much though, since it's only a matter of time before it's able to make her give in, and try baking with the voice's treasured ingredient: raw object flesh. -Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. Content Warning: This fic contains blood, gore, cannibalism, a suicide attempt, mild body horror, and language. If you are sensitive to any of those things I suggest not reading.
