Pieces of Us
Shane is a boy who carries his scars where no one can see them: buried beneath long sleeves, silence, and a heart that no longer believes in love. Haunted by childhood trauma and a mother who broke him instead of protecting him, he walks through life convinced that he is unworthy of care.

As well as sexual assault and harassment (But don't worry, it's fade to black), has extreme depictions of self harm and suicidal thoughts, has scenes and descriptions of a public shooter, eating disorders, and lastly, racism/classism. The list may be long, but it IS the point of the book to touch on all of these topics. I hope you enjoy.
