Supernatural
I was born into hunting like it was a curse carved into my blood. Dean Winchester was born fighting, fists first, grin second. That summer rewrote everything. Bobby Singer's house was meant to be my cage-four walls to keep me quiet, contained-until Dean kicked the door wide open and dared me to breathe. Between monsters we bled for, secrets we shouldn't have known, and nights on the porch where the stars felt close enough to burn, I found something I never expected: someone who saw me, sharp edges and all, and didn't look away. But summers end. And the things we bury don't stay buried forever. ---"Before the road trips and the Impala: a pre-series story with the young Winchesters and an original character."--- ---I do not own Supernatural or any of its canon characters. They belong to Eric Kripke and the rightful owners. I only own Calla Black and my original storylines/OCs.---

In late summer 1980, a hunter and his witch wife built The Hunter's Inn - a safe haven for hunters and their children when the world became too dangerous to face alone. Tav and Valleri Whitlock raised their own kids in that blend of cedar, salt, and quiet magic, and the Inn gained a reputation for protection strong enough that Bobby Singer himself sent people their way. Over time, the orchard grew, the wards settled, and the house seemed to breathe with the people it sheltered. In October 1992, a 1967 black Chevy Impala rolled up the gravel drive. John Winchester dropped off his sons - 13-year-old Dean and 9-year-old Sam - and left without looking back. That first two-week stay changed everything. Sarah Whitlock, eleven and sharp-eyed, met the boys on the porch, and a bond formed that none of them expected. Sam fit easily into the Whitlock rhythm; Dean learned, slowly, what safety felt like. They returned in 1993, 1995, and 1997, each visit leaving its mark on the Inn, on Sarah, and on the boys who kept finding their way back. Long before prophecies or monsters big enough to break the world, this was where the story truly began - a refuge, a family, and two brothers who discovered they weren't as alone as they'd been taught to believe. Supernatural belongs to its creators. Original characters and original story elements belong to me.
