Karma and Angel are as opposite as a pair of identical twins could possibly be. Karma thrives on chaos while Angel can't stop running from it. Karma breaks rules constantly, and Angel is constantly struggling to stand up for herself. Adopted together in secret at birth, both girls had no idea where they came from but Karma especially always felt like she didn't belong. On one hot blustery day at the end of the school year disaster strikes, forcing both girls to flee with their family. As their journey unfolds, the pair make a discovery they never expected: their birth parents are not of this world.
