My name is Ivy Hicks and for as long as I've know, my life has never been anything but messy and unforgiving. For this reason I put walls up as far as they could go but then I met a funny, caring boy that I thought had a heart just as beautiful as he was to me. I could feel those walls I had spent years carefully crafting falling down to the ground. I felt like I was on cloud nine; like everything was finally going my way. But life loves to just say 'Fuck you' and pull that rug right from underneath you. I spent so many tears on that boy and my heart yearned for him even years after he walked away. Now, after graduating with my bachelors degree and finding the man of my dreams, I find myself back in my hometown for the summer to have my wedding. Everything seems like life is finally throwing me a bone until I find out I'm having to work side by side with the same boy that broke my heart all those years ago. My name is Carson Avery. I never knew my mom and was raised up by my dad and while it was nice because it was only us and we were able to bond very easily, it was also hell because I never learned how to love properly. I didn't have a nurturing figure in my life, only someone who taught me to deal with my emotions by throwing myself into work and pushing down my feelings until it doesn't hurt as much. So when the girl that I had been crushing on for years finally became my girlfriend, I vowed that I wouldn't hurt her like I had done to others. But like my father used to tell me, I never really did follow by the rules, even ones I set for myself. Five years later, I had taken over the Ranch, threw myself into my work and tried to forget all about the girl of my dreams that I let walk away. That is until she decides to walk back into our hometown with a ring on her finger and match in her hand that lit that fire we had back into my heart. However this time, I won't lose that flame again, no matter what it takes. Here I come my little firecracker.

XION LOCKE: I have been spazzing about this opportunity to dance with my idol, Kayax Luna. I didn't need the added stress of my greatest heartbreak to follow me around in what was supposed to be my safe space. The fact that I didn't need a safe space away from someone who wouldn't physically or purposely emotionally harm me wasn't the point. However, now I have to deal with the consequences of my own actions. Surprise, surprise. Kayax asked me to bring a dance move from his mind alive, and he chose Levi for me to partner with. I tried to keep myself together, but I cracked apart the longer I had to stare into eyes that I wanted to be mine once upon a time. Levi had enough, and he decided to finally speak of our seven-year separation. He asked me, and I told him. Curse him. Now, he's after me for the explanation. Great question, I'd love to tell you, Levi. Maybe you'll understand why I want to keep my distance. Maybe you'll understand why I took all these measures to protect myself. Except, he doesn't understand at all. Levi is angry. He's hurt. He's destroyed. Wait, I didn't expect that reaction. I didn't expect him to shout at me as he painfully told me every way that I was wrong. I didn't expect him to show such emotion when telling me that I should have talked to him seven years ago. I became the bad guy in seconds flat, and I had no idea there could be an explanation. I had no idea that everything I believed in the past was real. Levi was in love with me, and I'd been crushing him for seven years with my indifference. How the hell was I supposed to fix this while juggling a music video that deeply explained love and all the flaws that came with it? What would happen if we worked together to overcome the challenges I created by accident? What if we reignited that flame and lit our world on fire? I was making it my mission to show Levi that I removed the barbwire around my heart and prove to him I never stopped loving him.
