Cordelia Jasmine Bellrose lives what she has grown up to know as a pristine life in the upper class. The year is 1908, and though the Victoria Era has passed, a new one is about to enter. Cordelia, is arranged to become engaged to none other than Nathaniel Jackson, a man she has absolutely no interest in loving. In unfortunate events, and to make matters worse, she is forced to give up the life she once knew. It all ends with a vampire by the name of Killian Jameson, a vampire who has been walking amongst the living for hundreds of years, and unfortunately for Cordelia, he has taken a fancy to her. Cordelia just wants to move on and live life without relying on a man, but unfortunately for her, Killian has other plans in store for her.
