Just so you know this y/n is emotionless and shows little to none interest in people. Since this is a fem reader I will be using she/her pronouns and give y/n female body parts. please enjoy the rest of this description. Actual description: Y/n, a girl with little to none emotions. Or at least they don't show. Her mind is dark and so is everything she says when she does talk. She refuses to speak unless she wants, or has to talk to someone. But when she does, people tend to find it creepy or they begin to fear her. She has a loving family, is an only child and has everything she could want. Makes you wonder why she is like this.... That's for another time though... After an... incident, at her other school, she is transferred to Nevermore Academy. Her father was an angel, her mother being a demon who has chosen to be good, fell in love and had y/n. Y/n is a hybrid because of this. Her demon side takes affect more than it should though. Her parents chose for her to go to Nevermore so she could be around other kids like her. Meaning other outcasts. Her parents want her to make friends. Or even someone to love. She is obviously not interested in this. She hates people. Why would she willingly talk to any of them. She sees no point in even making friends... I wonder why? What happens when she is roomed next to the most feared boy in Nevermore and with the happiest girl alive? Tensura: Melting the Eternal Frost - Book 1
This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard lacks substantial characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime, since my story picks up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats of the original light novel, so some arcs will be glossed over with minor changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates, as I tend to reread chapters and catch minor mistakes here and there. (Note that this is Book 1 for the full story.) Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

The Kingdom of Ru'aun was rich and plentifully, if you were lucky enough to live in the inner city, Falcon Claw. Outside of those walls was where the poor stayed poor and poverty stayed brutally common. There were 11 closely built towns, but the 3 biggest were O'khasis, Scaleswind, and the Neapolitan villages. That was not where Aphmau was. She was born and raised in a small village far to the east called Phoenix Drop. She was thrown into guard training by her parents at the age of 12 to give her an opportunity in life. After 6 years of intense, tiring combat training and schooling, she'd been chosen to move to the castle as a guard. Of course, she wasn't expecting to be guarding the Crowned Prince of the Falcon Claw Castle. If she had the chance to go back to that day, she'd take that chance and run for the hills while she still could. 19 year old Prince Aaron, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He didn't want to be watched over, he didn't want to be guarded, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life. With his luck, that was impossible. He never wanted the crown. He was intelligent enough to rule and he acknowledged that but he always wished he could just be free of his binding curse.
