The Arguilla's family is known for their marriage tradition. With the power they had, tying a knot with different prominent families may ensure their legacy continued. But because of one incident, the tradition was broken.

Lemarie Adria Arguilla is considered the root cause of this fractured legacy, and the Arguillas believe that only she may reseal what's broken.

Lemarie, however, believes that you can't force love, and that marriage is sacred. Zimri Venancio Dela Rostelli is her longtime boyfriend. He knows about their tradition and how her family is forcing her to marry someone. She wanted to marry the man she loves-the man she believes will stay by her side for the rest of her life.

She wanted him to stay by her side. She thought ZV was thinking the same way, that they were in sync...but suddenly, he wanted to break up with her. In fact, even with the tradition, she was ready to break the line twice for him. But before she could do that, he broke her first, without even a single chance to prove to him that she could break the line, just like her mom did for her dad.
