"you don't have to avoid me." kai stepped toward her slowly, reaching his hand out to her, her arm shot up and away from his hand. kai gave her a reassuring smile, trying his best to be understanding. he gently grabbed her hand, stepping closer to her.
"you are my wife." kelsea showed no expression, keeping the same blank face. she refused to speak. she'd only said maybe two or three words to him today. usually answering him with nods or shrugs.
"i know you can talk." he used his free hand, to push her hair behind her ear. she didn't really budge. she only shuddered.
"im gonna treat you like my wife, im not gonna hurt you. you don't have to be this way."
she shrugged out of his touch, moving towards her bag she unzipped it. grabbing clothes, she trudged to the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
kai stood, unsure what to do. he was pissed, truly. and as much as he wanted to, he resisted to urge to yell at her. take it out on her. this wasnt some girl he only wanted for sex, she was more. she meant more, and he had to try to change his ways.

As she gasped for air she tried to speak but no sound came out. Her lungs and her throat burned. "Still no answer?" he smirked shoving her back under the water. After a few more times of holding her head under water, he held her up and grabbed her face. "This is what breaking my rules gets you!" he yelled pulling Mayah from the tub. "Now, the next person to break one of my rules will not be as lucky as Mayah here."
