Until Cameron turned eighteen and realized that they're Mates. Having Witch blood meant that Cameron could feel that pull from the time he was six, and when he realized that Charlie, who was only twelve, would have to deal with that... He decided to leave home for a little bit. When he comes back, Charlie is twenty and able to tell that they're Mates. And now Cameron has to tell them they're not brothers.
