Jes is twenty-two.
He knows only neon nights, the taste of strangers' lips, and the hollow sound of his father's money slipping away. His GPA barely breathes above a 2.1, and one more stumble means being erased from his father's will. He also promised his brother to graduated in one year.

Bible is nineteen.
A ghost in the library stacks, his GPA a near-perfect 3.96. He doesn't waste his fragile energy on friends; silence is his safest companion. With a father on his deathbed and a mother lost too soon, survival is already heavy enough.

Jes needs a miracle. Bible needs money.
So Jes forces his arrogance into Bible's quiet world, demanding a mentorship neither of them truly wants.
