Some hearts burn quietly,
holding onto someone
who no longer walks beside them.
This is a collection of poems for him;
the one who lingers in the spaces between my breaths,
in the echoes of songs,
in the shadows of streets I walk alone.
I never tell him.
I never reach out.
I only miss him,
Silently, Endlessly,
and in these pages,
It is everything I can't say.
