The year is 2842. War, natural disaster, and monstrous viruses have completely altered the surface of the Earth. 20 years ago scientists and engineers banded together and put it upon themselves to find the future of their kind. Taking the remaining 500 humans on Earth, they placed them into 5 blocked off areas called "sectors". Each sector holds 100 people, unique terrain, and many dangers. Inside these sectors is the only life known to these people and the world outside is constantly changing. One month, an icey storm freezes the air and ground, then the next, scorching sun rays burning everything in sight. This story revolves around Celeste Rose Loera. Living in Sector 3, Rose notices things are changing. When suddenly, Sector 3 is combined with Sector 5, things get even worse. As Rose tries her best to protect her family from all dangers that arise, she can't help but stay away from the mysterious Blaze. Together, they try to solve the mysterious puzzle that could break them free.
