Running away from home, Sunny finds his way back in his home town. Not having a place to stay, Kel offers him to stay at his place until Hero comes back from college. Sunny agrees and now he has to reconnect with his past friends group. Befriending Kel was easy, but it's a struggle with Aubrey and Basil. Mainly because he never gets a chance to even see Basil. That is until he shows up in his doorstep. Basil let's him rekindle with him, but it's different now.
Seeing Basil in a new light, Sunny struggles with internalized homophobia and starts to push Basil away. Causing even more problems when his dad moves back into town. With struggling with his feelings towards his best friend and the abuse coming from his neglectful father, Sunny is stuck.
