Atlanta Johnson,  a twelve year old girl with more than enough problems in her life.  First her dad leaves, then getting stalked at several schools,  then getting kicked out of them.  Shes about to get kicked out of another.  
Things have begun happening in her life,  that cannot be explained.  When she is attacked by her fellow teacher and student, she finally finds out who she is.  
When she gets to Camp Half Blood,  she learns her father,  and why he left, makes friends,  and gets a quest to delay a blow to the Olympians.
