Winters We Promised

Issac and Oliver made a promise when they were eight years old. "Every first snowfall, we'll meet at the hill." For years, they kept it. Two boys in the cold, growing up through laughter, silence, and everything in between. But winters change, and so do people. The hill doesn't feel the same anymore, too many words left unspoken, too many promises wearing thin. Still, they return. Winter after winter. Until one day, only one boy is left standing in the snow, alone, freezing, waiting, waiting for that voice.
